Description:

Catosin Plus®  250 is a metered dose Inhaler for oral inhalation. Each puff delivers  250 mcg of Fluticasone propionate and 25 mcg Salmeterol as xinafoate and Ozone friendly propellant, HFA 134a.

Clinical Pharmacology:

Fluticasone propionate controls the rate of protein synthesis: depresses the migration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes, fibroblasts, reverses capillary permeability and lysosomal stabilization at the cellular level to prevent or control inflammation.

Salmeterol is a long acting highly selective beta2 agonist, which relax bronchial smooth muscles thereby relieving bronchospasm.

Indications:

Catosin Plus® 250 Inhaler is a combination “preventer” medication for treating reversible obstructive airways disease, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This combination therapy is used for long-term asthma management in patients aged 12 years and older.

Dosage and Administration:

Your doctor will prescribe 1 of 2 different strengths of Catosin Plus®  250 for patients 12 years and older depending on the severity of condition:

2 inhalations twice daily (morning and evening approximately 12 hours apart). The recommended starting dosage is based on the patient’s current asthma therapy.

How Supplied:

Sina Darou Catosin Plus®  250 Inhalers are supplied as aluminum canisters with plastic actuators and protective caps.

Store below 30^oC. Protect from frost, direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of the reach of children
