Composition:
Restanex® is a nasal suspension. Each 100mL contains 0.05g Mometasone furoate with Benzalkonium Chloride as preservative. Each puff contains 50 mcg  Mometasone furoate.

Clinical Pharmacology:
Nasal corticosteroid inhibits the migration of inflammatory cells in to the nasal tissue (the late-phase or late-onset allergic reaction) which may play a significant role in the pathology of chronic rhinitis.

Indications:
Restanex® nasal sprays are indicated in the treatment of perennial and seasonal allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis, nasal allergic disorders, noninfections inflammatory conditions and polyps.

Dosage and Administration:
-In prophylaxis and treatment of allergic rhinitis:
Adult and adolescent dose: 100 mcg (2 sprays) in each nostril once a day (total daily dose, 200 mcg); then being decreased to a maintenance dose of 50 mcg (1 spray) in each nostril once a day, according to patient response.
Children 2 to 11 years of age: 50 mcg (1 spray) in each nostril once daily.
-In Nasal polyps (18 years of age and older):
2 sprays in each nostril twice daily (total daily dose 400 mcg).

How Supplied:
Sina Darou Restanex® Nasal Sprays are available as Mometasone furoate 0.05% suspension in 20 mL plastic bottles with pump sprays and protective caps.
