Composition:
Ventalex® is a metered dose inhaler for oral inhalation. Each puff delivers 100 mcg of Salbutamol as sulfate and Ozone friendly propellant, HFA 134a.
     
Clinical Pharmacology:
Salbutamol is a selective short-acting beta2 agonist, which relaxes bronchial smooth muscles thereby relieving bronchospasm.

Indications:
Ventalex® Inhaler is indicated in the prophilaxy and management of mild to moderate asthma, exercise-induced bronchospasm and other conditions associated with reversible airways obstruction in patients four years of age and older.

Dosage and administration:
Usual dose for patients four years and older
Bronchodilator: Two inhalations (puffs) every four to six hours. For some patients, 1 inhalation (puff) every four hours may be sufficient.
Bronchospasm, exercise-induced (prophylaxis):
Two puffs at least 15 or 30 minutes before exercise.

How supplied:
 Ventalex ® Inhalation Aerosols are supplied as aluminum canisters with blue plastic actuators and protective caps which provide at least 200 puffs.
